The Sales Director Europe is responsible to develop, manage and realize the periodic sales objectives for OEM, Aftermarket and intercompany sales. The Sales Director will report to the Managing Director Europe and is part of the European management team. The Sales Director will manage and coach the account managers, application engineers and customer support (around 10 employees) to realize optimal customer satisfaction and profitable sales.



Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

Produce an annual sales plan encompassing all strategies pertinent to the growth of assigned channel(s) for growth in the OEM market, Aftermarket and intercompany sales.
Responsible for completion of annual sales objectives and growth of assigned channel(s).
Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to secure new and existing business for market = growth, includes gaining entrance into new channels.
Sales emphasis on customer intimacy, customer satisfaction, expanding market share in Europe, new products to support sales goals from new products.
Develop and maintain market intelligence and customer insight through regular contact with customers and competitors.
Collaborate with the business development experts and marketing group to develop and implement programs and new products.
Manage and build an effective Sales Team and hold them accountable for achieving sales, growth and profitability objectives.
Cross functional involvement and participation on teams focused on driving Key Business Initiatives in Weasler Europe as well as the global organization.
Develop relationships with senior management of key accounts and perform account management for at least one of the global accounts.
Supports product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new products.

Desired Skills and Experience
Relevant Bachelor or Master degree.
You have min. 10 years of international Sales / Business Development experience in relevant industries. Experience with technical product lines is strongly preferred.
You’re a people manager by nature and you bring +5 years of relevant management experience with leading and motivating commercial and/or cross functional teams.
Business acumen with strong leadership skills, professional presence and a clear vision on sales strategies.
You are able to understand and translate customer and market signals in a structured way and able to represent Weasler on different (international) stakeholder levels.
Understanding of markets, distribution channels, OEM requirements, and brand strengths in dealing with product positioning strategies.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills and highly resistant to change and stress.
Excellent communication skills (writing, verbal and presentations): min. English. German and French are a plus.
Willing to travel frequently
